GURUKUL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL!

GIS has been conceived to meet the highest educational expectations of Bellary’s rapidly growing multinational community. We live in an interconnected and complex world that is changing at an unprecedented pace. Preparing our children to succeed in this challenging environment demands a flexible and real-world-based approach to education.

Indeed, it requires a dynamic school that can turn learning into a life-long journey of inquiry and discovery, culminating in knowledge that matters. GIS is a school for a diverse student body, with a global faculty and an international curriculum.

We believe our particular location in India, gives the GIS community of learners (teachers, students, and parents) an incredible opportunity to examine change, explore the interconnectedness of issues, and develop a global perspective To offer an educational experience that is truly international. Together with their experienced input, we have attracted an inspiring faculty, and have provided outstanding facilities Our Mission is to provide an international education for children of the multicultural community, in order to prepare them for life in the 21st Century.

“Gurukul International School will provide its students with a world-class education by nurturing self-confidence, self-discipline, critical thinking, and creativity which will encourage in them an enduring love of knowledge and the passion and sense of improvement, as well as responsibility to make a positive difference in the lives of others through their own actions and example.”

Our Mission & Vision

The core philosophy of GIS is its endeavor to instill a value system in each individual, so as to help him withstand all the tests of time. We believe that true education is the training of both the head & the heart. Academic excellence is desirable but inculcating good values is the essence of education.

We take upon the task of not only raising career-conscious students but also socially responsible and global citizens. We aim to impart holistic education to ensure that our children grow up as individuals who are morally upright, emotionally balanced, culturally integrated, socially aware, and spiritually oriented.

This sometimes takes the form of inter-school meets and national tours.

P. Govind

CHAIRMAN

The GURUKUL International School, GIS aims to deliver an international educational program beyond the limits of the academic curriculum.  The School is second to none in the exciting possibilities it has with the most modern facilities on campus and a faculty rich in talent and experience. Our expectations are high, not only from our pupils but from our staff as well.  In fact, the all-around education offered in the classroom, the dormitories, the playgrounds, and the campus in many ways encapsulates a training that has all the richness and flavor of the ancient Indian systems and all the vision and breadth of modern education. Even the very CBSE and IGCSE curricula have scope to expand or digress into values that will build a true citizen of the modern world.
